Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on Monday that the company would take longer to showcase its robotaxi as he wants to make significant changes to the front of the car and add some other features. Musk did not say when the new event will be, but Bloomberg News reported it has been pushed from August to October.
Musk referred to on X (previously Twitter) that he asked about the layout trade and that more time might permit Tesla to expose greater capabilities. A supply showed the delay but didn’t give extra information.
There are many challenging situations with increasing robotaxis and autonomous driving structures, so analysts and traders are not surprised by the delays.
Previously, Musk introduced an August monitor date after Reuters stated in April that Tesla had canceled plans for a reasonably-priced vehicle and could attention to self-using robotaxis with the use of the same small-car platform.
Musk has shared a few information about the robotaxi. He mentioned that a few would be owned using Tesla and others by using people who ought to rent them out via Tesla’s community.
